In the past five years there was only one month, January 2010, in which Hungarians took up as few housing loans as they have this May, the most recent month indicated in statistics. Loans have dried up and the market is slackening: There is no reason to talk about a busy period, any inexpert might declare. These have been interesting, eventful months for the property loan market in Hungary… on the contrary, believes the author of this article.
